Paperless Confirmations

In response to requests to cut down on the number of trees that are appearing in your mailboxes, we have come up with a couple of solutions for those clients holding accounts with Pershing, LLC.

Paperless Instructions for Those with Online Account Access

For those of you who already access your accounts online, you can change the delivery of trade confirmations and statements from paper delivery to e-mail notification. First, please log into your account, click on the blue "Profile" tab at the top of the screen, then click on "Document Delivery" and follow the instructions.

Create an Online Account and Go Paperless

If you have not accessed your accounts online please follow the the listed instructions below. Please folow the instructions carefuly as the system is very particular.This set up will allow you to log on and view your accounts online.

1. Type the address into your browser or follow the link:

www.spfiview.com

2. Your ID is your account number (all caps, no dash.) Accounts beginning with 6G0, the "0" is a zero.

3. Your temporary password is built from your birthdate. First type an "a" then an "i" followed by your six-digit date of birth. For example, if your birthday is October 21, 1969, your temporary password would be ai102169.

4. In the next screen, you will be prompted to choose a new password and answer some security questions. The answers are space, spelling, and case sensitive.

If you have multiple accounts, you will have to log in for each one. We can have your accounts linked so you can log once and view them all at the same time.

If you attempt to log in three times incorrectly, the system will lock your account. Just call us and we will have the back office reset the login.

Once you have established your new password and security questions, you will be able to change the delivery notifications by clicking on the blue "Profile" tab at the top of the screen, then on "Document Delivery" and follow the instructions.

Paperless Instructions for Those Without Online Access

If you do not have Internet access or do not wish to view your accounts online, you may still change the delivery option for trade confirmations by completing the VISION2020 Advisor Trade Confirmation Suppression Form. After you have completed this form please mail it to us. Please note that everyone in the household who has an Advisory Account will need to sign a suppression form. If you are unsure about what account numbers to list on the form, please contact us.

Paperless Brokerage Account

There is no service fee for signing up for e-Delivery. However, beginning in 2011 there will be a $1.50 paper surcharge fee on all trade confirmations, in addition to the $4.00 trade confirmation fee. In order to avoid these fees please follow a few easy steps found on the Go Paperless Document. Once you have registered, the system will identify any accounts for which you are the primary or secondary account owner, and any account for which you are the custodian or trustee. Even though each account will be listed as identified by SSN, it will be necessary for the client to select e-Delivery for each account individually.

Unfortunately, we cannot stop the delivery of prospectuses and other related mailings that come from product companies.
